D&C EXTENSION

This project is an extension designed to complement the original home by adding a much-needed space for social connection. While the house embraced an open, island-style layout, it lacked a dedicated area for gatherings.

The new addition introduces a cozy indoor living space that flows into a curved deck — a natural spot for dinners and relaxed get-togethers. With 22.5 m² inside and a 20 m² deck, the extension brings balance, adding function without overwhelming the home’s character.

Warm wood finishes, earthy tones, and thoughtful details give the space a modern touch while preserving its Filipino and island-inspired charm. Surrounded by greenery and filled with natural light, this new addition feels both welcoming and seamless.— a space designed to bring people together.
