SALTY DOG STAGE I

Salty Dog is a renovation project that began after the original design was left unfinished and later damaged by Typhoon Odette in December 2021.

The project was reimagined in two phases. The first phase focused on renovating and modernizing the restaurant, improving kitchen flow and seating arrangements, while adding a second floor with sunset views and light-filled spaces. The open-air concept was maintained, but durable materials like metal and extended roof overhangs were introduced to improve resilience against heavy rain and future typhoons. This phase is currently 80% complete.

The second phase, which is yet to begin, involves updating the villas. The redesign improves interior flow, turning previously tight spaces into more open and functional areas. While the villas will maintain their Filipino island charm with natural materials, they will also be refreshed with contemporary elements to align with current trends, giving the project a renewed character after years of standing still.
